A new photographic contest for Tuscanian residents to reflect on development, future generations and integration. A project by Associazione 46° Paralelo and Primavera d’Impresa

“The future in a click: ideas for the development of the country”. This is the title of a new photographic competition, dedicated to young people aged between 14 and 24, organised by Associazione 46°Parallelo – publisher, among other things, of the Atlas of World Wars and Conflicts and creator of the international photographic competition WARS – and Primavera d’Impresa, an award dedicated to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The competition is open to all young people, both Italian and non-Italian, resident in Tuscany, divided into two categories: between 14 and 18 years old and between 19 and 24 years old. Those wishing to take part must produce a photo-reportage of 8 or 10 photos, in either colour or black and white, linked to the themes of integration, the environment, sustainable development and social reality.

Professional photographers are excluded from the competition. The aim is to understand today’s Tuscany by looking at it through the eyes of young people. This is a fundamental key to imagining the future in a coherent way, going beyond the stereotypical images of our territory. The photos must be sent via the Picter platform between 30 April and 30 May 2022. They will be assessed by a jury of three experts, whose names – in order to guarantee the best possible transparency – will be made public.

The names of the three experts – to ensure the greatest possible transparency in the assessment – will only be announced once the deadline for submitting entries has closed.

The rules are also available on the Primavera d’Impresa website.

To send the materials, please go to the regulations.
